Україна стала наддержавою у сфері безпілотників та готується експортувати їх на міжнародні ринки.

Ukraine has established itself as a leader in drone production, manufacturing up to 4 million drones of various types each year. These devices are effectively used both on the front lines and deep within the Russian Federation’s rear. In comparison, the annual production volume of military drones in the USA is about 100,000 units.

Expansion into International Markets

The Ukrainian defense industry, which has undergone significant transformation during the full-scale war, is actively preparing to enter the international market. Despite financial challenges, domestic companies are seeking ways to create secure production facilities abroad and export their innovative solutions.

In particular, the drone manufacturer Skyeton has already opened a factory in Slovakia, attracting $11.6 million in foreign investment. Ukraine also plans to establish the production of interceptor drones in collaboration with the United Kingdom. This year, Denmark allocated $77 million to support joint defense projects with Ukraine.

New Opportunities for Ukrainian UAVs

Key markets for Ukrainian drones have been identified as Europe and the USA. To expand export opportunities, the first offices for arms export will soon open in Berlin and Copenhagen. This will allow for the promotion of Ukrainian technologies on the global stage and attract new partners for the development of the industry.

“Ukraine has become a superpower in the field of drones, annually producing up to 4 million drones of various types, which are used for strikes against Russian targets both on the front line and deep within the RF’s rear.”
