Leaders in New Residential Construction

The highest activity in initiating new projects was recorded in the Kyiv region. During the first quarter of 2025, the construction of 9,292 apartments, totaling 594,600 square meters of residential space, was started here. This allows the region to confidently lead in the pace of residential infrastructure development.

The second place belongs to the Lviv region, where builders began the construction of 3,067 new apartments with a total area of 247,900 square meters over the three months of the current year. The capital, Kyiv, ranks third, with the construction of 1,711 apartments totaling 145,300 square meters starting there.

Market Activity in the Regions

In addition to the leaders, other regions are also demonstrating significant dynamics. Among them, the Ivano-Frankivsk (1,530 apartments), Vinnytsia (973), Zakarpattia (968), Chernivtsi (965), and Volyn (923) regions stand out. This distribution indicates the growing activity of developers and the expansion of the residential real estate market across the country.

The noted increase in the volume of new residential construction indicates a gradual recovery and prospects for the development of the real estate market in Ukraine. It is expected that this will positively impact the supply of apartments over the next 2-5 years.
