International Cooperation in the Defense Industry

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that negotiations are currently underway for joint drone production with Italy and France. In addition, Ukraine is actively expanding cooperation in the defense industry with Denmark, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Such partnerships allow for the attraction of modern technologies, investments, and the experience of leading countries in the defense sector.

“Ukraine is already working on expanding cooperation in the defense industry with Denmark, Norway, Germany, the UK, and Canada.”

Strategic Agreements and New Projects

During the URC2025 conference, the Ukrainian delegation signed five strategically important agreements aimed at developing the defense industry. Among the key areas are cooperation with American and Italian partners. In particular, there are plans to establish a joint Ukrainian-American production of explosives in the USA and to develop the aviation sector of the defense industry in collaboration with Italian companies.

Additionally, Germany will finance the purchase of Ukrainian long-range missiles, with the first deliveries expected this month. These missiles will become an important factor in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities in the near future.
