The Epicenter group of companies, together with its partners, has announced its intention to implement a large-scale investment project at the “Yuzhny” port in the Odesa region. Technical specifications of the future terminal
According to the plan, the terminal area will include a station for unloading railcars with a capacity of 2,000 tons per hour, as well as a station for unloading trucks capable of processing 1,000 tons per hour. The main elevators will be connected to the unloading stations via a conveyor gallery 1,600 meters long. The throughput capacity of the gallery will be 1,200 tons per hour.
Grain will be delivered to silos with a total capacity of 250,000 tons, allowing for the efficient storage of large volumes of product. Additionally, a berth up to 350 meters long and 16 meters deep is planned to be constructed. Two tower cranes, each with a capacity of 1,500 tons per hour, will be installed for the transshipment of agricultural cargo. The terminal is expected to be operational by 2026.

New projects in logistics and woodworking
In parallel, the woodworking enterprise with foreign investments, Kronospan (Volyn), intends to build a transshipment terminal for panel, artificial, liquid, and bulk materials near the “Yahodyn” customs checkpoint. Access railway tracks of various widths will be laid to this facility, allowing for the efficient servicing of 720 railcars and 800 trucks per month.
