Export to 53 Countries

Thanks to the Ukrainian corridor, products are successfully exported to 53 countries, including Kenya, Djibouti, and Bangladesh. For the markets of North Africa and Southeast Asia, the sea route is the most economical, as land transportation makes Ukrainian grain uncompetitive in price. This has allowed Ukrainian producers to maintain their competitiveness in global markets and ensure stable foreign currency inflows into the Ukrainian economy.

Impact on the Agricultural Sector

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, about 30% of metal product exports are carried out by sea. For the agricultural sector, this brings an economic effect of 15-20% added value.

Despite the fact that in 2024 alone, air raid alerts were declared more than 800 times in the Odesa region, and the total time during which port workers had to interrupt their activities and stay in shelters exceeded 32 days, the export of goods continued.
