As of the end of August 2025, Ukraine’s trade volume reached $78.9 billion, which is $6.3 billion higher than the figure for the same period last year. During this time, imports of goods amounted to $52.6 billion, while exports totaled $26.3 billion.

Main Partner Countries and Import Structure
The largest imports to Ukraine came from China ($11.6 billion), Poland ($5 billion), and Germany ($4.2 billion). The main categories of imports included machinery, equipment, and vehicles – $20.7 billion, chemical industry products – $8.3 billion, and fuel and energy products – $6.7 billion. Together, these three groups account for 68% of total imports.
Export Directions and Leading Products
Ukrainian exports primarily went to Poland ($3.3 billion), Turkey ($2 billion), and Germany ($1.5 billion). The main export products were food items worth $14.6 billion, metals and metal products – $3 billion, as well as machinery, equipment, and vehicles – $2.5 billion.
