GORO Mountain Resort, a year-round resort in Slavske, Lviv region, developed by OKKO Group, has announced ambitious plans for the development of tourism infrastructure. According to the CEO of GORO Development, Volodymyr Harazd, the resort aims to serve up to 3 million tourists annually in the future.

Phase One: Apartments and Investments
During the industrial forum, Volodymyr Harazd detailed the first phase of the project. It involves the construction of 1,200 apartments over the next three to five years. During this period, the resort will be able to accommodate up to 5,000 guests per day, with an average spending of up to 150 euros per night per visitor. The total investment for the first phase of the project is estimated at $400 million, of which $300 million is planned for hotel infrastructure and another $100 million for recreational facilities.
Impact on the Local Economy and Development
While some equipment will be sourced from foreign manufacturers, a significant portion of the investments will remain in Ukraine. Volodymyr Harazd noted that 25–30% of the investments will go to local companies. This includes manufacturers of building materials, furniture, textiles, and other products, which will positively impact the local economy.

Visitors will spend up to €150 per day per person. Investments in the implementation of the first phase of the resort are estimated at $400 million, of which $300 million is for hotel infrastructure and $100 million for recreation.”
Construction of GORO Mountain Resort began in October 2024. The total area of the project spans nearly 1,200 hectares. OKKO Group acts as the main investor, owner, master developer, builder, and operator of the resort, ensuring a unified approach to the development of the complex and a high level of management.
