On September 10, the international technology forum WOW Summit 2025 concluded in Hong Kong, gathering over 4,000 participants from more than 30 countries around the world. WOW Summit 2025: Scale and Participants
The event was supported by government and industry organizations in Hong Kong, including Invest Hong Kong and the Tourism Board. More than 60 innovative projects and 100 partners showcased their solutions, while over 120 experts took to the stage. Among the speakers were Joseph H. L. Chan (Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the SAR), Elizabeth Wong (Head of the Fintech Unit at the SFC), Sebastian Borget (Co-founder of The Sandbox), Kelvin Ng (Partner at Plutus VC), Evan Au-Young (President of Animoca Brands), Mete Ai (Co-founder of ICB Labs), and Jonathan Chan (Co-founder of RedotPay).
Discussions covered topics such as the development of Web3, the implementation of artificial intelligence, asset tokenization, and the regulatory environment for new technologies.

RWA Summit and Breakthroughs in Tokenization
A special highlight of WOW Summit 2025 was the RWA Summit, dedicated to the tokenization of real assets. Modern approaches to the tokenization of public company assets, stablecoin regulation, RWA infrastructure development, and the use of PayFi were discussed here. Representatives from HSBC, Galaxy Digital, Boyaa Interactive, LynxCap, and the law firm Charltons Law participated in the discussions. Experts emphasized that cutting-edge technologies facilitate the integration of traditional finance with the Web3 ecosystem.
AI Innovations, Robotics, and Startups
During the WOW AI Summit, participants explored practical cases of artificial intelligence applications in medicine, financial markets, and smart cities. Special attention was given to the demonstration of modern robots, including humanoid and quadrupedal robots, presented by leading companies, including UNITREE. The AI-Showcase was moderated by Igor Lessio from AIFLOW. The WOW AI Summit was supported by the Science and Technology Park, Cyberport, SkyLab, and the AI Association of Hong Kong.
The startup scene at WOW Summit 2025 was vibrant, featuring solutions from BotanikaAI, Voidchain, ZarGates, Bupple (an AI social media manager for businesses), The Future Multiverse (a metaverse with a network in over 150 countries), and DatoDurian — a platform for tokenizing Malaysian durian farms.
