The “Kernel” group, one of the largest agribusiness companies in Ukraine and a global leader in sunflower oil exports, continues to actively operate in external markets during the 2024/25 season. In the third quarter (January-March 2024/25), the company processed 845,000 tons of oilseeds, including 694,000 tons of sunflower and 151,000 tons of soybeans. This is a 3% increase compared to the same period last year, although it is 9% lower than the previous quarter.

Over the nine months of the financial year, “Kernel” reduced the volume of grain received at its elevators by 2%, to 2.7 million tons. At the same time, during this period, the company exported 4.4 million tons of grains and oilseeds, which accounts for 12% of total Ukrainian exports.
Export and Transshipment Volumes
In the third quarter, the transshipment volume through “Kernel”‘s export terminals reached 2.5 million tons — a 2% increase compared to last year. This included 1.8 million tons of grains, 300,000 tons of food oil, and other processed oilseed products. Overall, for the nine months, transshipment reached 7.3 million tons — a 65% increase compared to the previous year.
