The French company Alta Ares, with offices in Paris, New York, Athens, and Kyiv, has begun production of interceptor drones in partnership with Ukrainian specialists. One of the company’s key developments is the Pixel-Lock software based on artificial intelligence, capable of detecting, tracking, and intercepting various aerial targets, including drones, aircraft, and guided bombs. Ukrainian military personnel are already testing this system in practice.

Drone Production and Component Localization
Serial production of Alta Ares interceptor drones is currently established at manufacturing facilities in France. At the same time, the company plans to gradually localize the production of certain components in Ukraine, which will enhance the efficiency of supply and involve Ukrainian specialists in innovative defense developments.
Czech Czechoslovak Group Assists Ukraine with Ammunition
Meanwhile, mass production of ammunition for tanks and artillery has started in Ukraine based on a license granted to the Ukrainian company “Ukrainian Armored Vehicles” by the Czech defense group Czechoslovak Group (CSG). In addition to the license and technological support, CSG supplies critically important components, including propellant charges, detonators, and other key elements of ammunition.
This is the first instance of a Western defense company localizing the production of large-caliber shells in Ukraine.
It is expected that within a year, Ukrainian enterprises will produce up to 100,000 shells of 155 mm caliber and 50,000 of 105 mm caliber, with plans to double production capacity in the future.
