State of the Guarantees of Origin Market in Ukraine
As of July 2025, nearly 10 million guarantees of origin for electricity have already been issued in Ukraine, indicating a rapid increase in interest in this instrument. The most active sellers of GOEE currently include companies such as “Energoatom,” “Ukrhydroenergo,” and “Guaranteed Buyer.” For reference: one guarantee of origin issued for electricity from renewable sources is equivalent to 1 MWh of produced energy.
