Lending Mechanisms and Available Products

At launch, Horizon supports lending in stablecoins such as USDC from Circle, RLUSD from Ripple, and GHO from Aave. Tokenized funds are accepted as collateral, including Superstate with short-term U.S. Treasury bonds and cryptocurrencies, Circle’s yield fund, as well as products from Janus Henderson, tokenized through the Centrifuge platform.

The solution is aimed at qualified investors who require short-term financing against their own RWA holdings, as well as creating conditions for implementing profitable financial strategies.

Horizon Innovations and Partner Ecosystem

The Horizon platform operates on the Aave V3 protocol — the largest decentralized lending protocol, with assets valued at nearly $40 billion. One of the key features of Horizon is the combination of closed and open operating models: tokens used as collateral undergo compliance checks at the issuer level, while liquidity pools remain open and accessible to all users.

To update and verify the value of collateral assets, Chainlink oracle services are utilized, including NAVLink, which directly transmits data on the net asset value of tokenized funds to the blockchain.

“Horizon provides the infrastructure and deep liquidity of stablecoins necessary for institutions to operate on-chain, ensuring 24/7 access, transparency, and more efficient markets.”

Among the asset issuers that joined the platform’s launch are Ethena, OpenEden, Securitize, VanEck, Hamilton Lane, and WisdomTree. A broader range of available tokenized collateral products is expected to be introduced soon.

Experts note that the tokenized asset market has surpassed $270 billion and has the potential to grow to several trillion dollars in the coming years. In particular, the tokenized real estate segment could reach $4 trillion by 2035.
