Features of Growing Potatoes for French Fries
Currently, there are only 2-3 varieties of seed material registered in Ukraine that are suitable for French fry production. In this regard, Potato Agro is searching for alternative varieties that are undergoing testing to determine their suitability for cultivation in local fields. Growing specialized potatoes for French fries remains a new direction for Ukrainian agricultural producers, so the company aims to gain the relevant experience. This season, part of the harvest is planned to be used for producing a dry mix — potato puree.
Development of the Agricultural Infrastructure in the Region

The facility is currently under construction, and part of the equipment has already been delivered. The processing capacity will be 150,000-180,000 tons per year.
