The “Diia” service has improved the procedure for submitting applications to the Loss Register for Ukraine for citizens who were forced to leave the country due to the war or currently cannot return home.

After the update, the system now automatically and more accurately pulls information about border crossing, which is one of the key elements when filling out the application. This makes it easier for users to complete the process without additional corrections or re-entering data.
Who Can Access the Updated Service
The update applies to the category of “Forced Displacement Beyond Ukraine.” This service is intended for Ukrainians who left the country after the start of the full-scale invasion, as well as for those who were abroad and cannot return home due to hostilities or security threats.
Submitting an application through “Diia” allows for the official recording of the fact of forced displacement, and the relevant information is entered into the international database regarding the consequences of Russia’s aggression. Such applications may become an important element of future mechanisms for compensating for war damages.
New Digital Services for Ukrainians
Additionally, the “Diia” app has begun a recruitment for beta testing a new feature – online termination of employment relationships with employers in temporarily occupied territories. This service has been created for citizens who have lost contact with their employer due to occupation or active hostilities and cannot resign in the usual manner.
