Starting from June 2, 2026, the State Agricultural Register (SAR) has begun accepting applications for a new government financial support program for the agricultural business. This initiative opens up opportunities for Ukrainian farmers to attract funds for the development of their farms and the implementation of new activities under favorable conditions.

Main conditions of the state loan program
Under the new program, farming enterprises can receive an interest-free loan with a rate of 0%. The maximum loan amount is up to 1 million hryvnias, and the loan term can reach up to 5 years. The main condition for participation is the provision of collateral for the fulfillment of obligations, which allows the state to guarantee the return of allocated funds.
“Under the terms of the new initiative, farming enterprises can attract an interest-free loan at a rate of 0%, with a maximum amount of up to 1 million hryvnias. The loan is granted for a sufficiently long term – up to 5 years. At the same time, the main and mandatory requirement for obtaining such financing is the provision of collateral for the fulfillment of obligations, which must guarantee the safe return of allocated budget funds to the state”
Permitted uses of the loan
The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine states that the targeted use of loan funds is quite broad. The loan can be directed towards the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, the acquisition of livestock, the construction or reconstruction of production facilities, the establishment of perennial plantations, the development of cooperation, as well as the implementation of irrigation and land reclamation systems.

Who can apply and how long will the acceptance last
Farming enterprises, including family farms without legal entity status, that are officially registered in the SAR have the right to apply for participation in the program. To participate, the business must meet reliability criteria: having no tax debts, not being in bankruptcy proceedings, and not conducting activities in temporarily occupied territories.
The application acceptance will last until July 2, 2026. After this deadline, the commission of the Ukrainian State Fund will process all submitted documents and determine the winners. The results will be published in the personal accounts of participants in the SAR system.
In addition, agricultural producers from eight regions have the opportunity to submit applications for grants from the European Union and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) until June 14.
