In the two weeks since the introduction of the electronic taxpayer card, more than 63 thousand citizens of Ukraine have utilized this new digital service. Now, obtaining a tax number can be done online in just a few minutes, allowing individuals to avoid visiting tax offices and filling out paper applications.

“The majority of users have registered for the e-card through the “Diia” app – over 62.5 thousand people. At the same time, the service is actively used by citizens abroad: nearly 700 Ukrainians have received the document through the “e-Consul” platform.”
Government services are transitioning to an online format
Registering a taxpayer identification number remains one of the most popular administrative services in Ukraine. Last year, over 600 thousand such documents were issued to Ukrainians. Digitizing this procedure has become an important direction for government structures, as it simplifies access to services and reduces bureaucratic barriers.
Digital services for the convenience of citizens
The implementation of the electronic taxpayer card is the next step in the development of electronic government services. This new approach allows individuals to obtain the necessary document regardless of their location, which is especially relevant for citizens temporarily residing abroad. It simplifies access to government services for a wide range of users and contributes to the further development of a digital state.
The State Tax Service has also approved an updated list of taxpayers who are noted for their high level of voluntary compliance with tax norms. As of May, this list includes 9,251 business entities, which is 260 more than during the previous update.
